All Time Home run King Barry Bonds has been indicted on five felony counts of perjury and obstruction of justice, charges that could result in a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison if he's convicted.
MLB Commissioner Bud Selig who has been conducting a witch hunt in his persuit of Barry Bonds has publicly held judgment, saying, "I take this indictment very seriously and will follow its progress closely." Privately though Selig must be rejoicing as his distain for Bonds has been well known for several Years.
Selig who stood by and reamed the benefits of the steroid induced Home Run chases on the mid 1990's is a hypocrite of the worst kind collecting huge profits for baseball all the while knowing where the increase in power was coming from in the 1990's, and then hiring former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, to investigate drug use in baseball.
